Five in One

Happy Monday everyone hope you all have a great start to the week.

Here is my card to start the week off with.

I have coloured the fab Fizzy Moon - With Love image with Prismacolor pencils and blending solution.

The sentiment is one of my fave from Whimsy Stamps - Postage Stamp Sentiments that i distressed with my Tim Halts inks.

The lovely big daisy with leafs was something a bought some time ago i think it was from Wild Orchid Crafts i have added some glitter detail to the middle of the Daisy's but it don't show really on the pic :(

I think the papers are Fizzy Moon too and ribbon is from my stash, I also used a mix of circle nestabilities.

Hi all here is a quick cards for Techno Stamper challenge before i head of to Town to check out some more crafting goodies :)

I have used SU Rose Red and Whisper White card stock

and a piece of sweet wishes paper stack i got free in Papercrafts Essentials.

The fab and funky image is one from the The Greeting Farm - Sweet & Toxic i got from the Dies to die for and coloured it with Copics.

Then added the C.C. Design sentiment which is one of my fav`s

Hi all hope you had a great weekend and the rain didn`t dampen it too much :)

Here is a card i have been working on over the weekend following the sketch over at Just Magnolia and i really enjoyed making it hope you like it too.

The image is the lovely Ribbon Hair Tilda which i coloured with Copics.

I used papers from Prima - Madeline paper stack they are lovely and SU choc chip card stock and ribbon that i got from the lovely Monica .

Been some time since i have been able to finally get back to blogland with one thing and another but i am here phew..

Onto the card its a lovely Digi image called Patsy-April showers1 by Stamp Fairy and the bright and wonderful papers are Hot Diggity Dog by Kristin Cronin-Barrow and Melissa Bennett from Sweet shoppe Designs

the sentiment is printed from my pc and coloured the image using ProMarkers.

A new style for me and 3 in 1 challenge.

Hiya all hope your day is going well,

This card i made last night using more of my new goodies.

I wanted to keep the card Monochromatic for the Stampavie & more Challenge

and keep it plain and simple for Creative Inspirations challenge so i stuck to using one colour pearl card stock and used tea dye ink to enhance my die cuts.

Also i am entering it into Truly Scrumptious Challenge Swirls and pearls as i have used my swirly corner die and added fancy pearls to really make them pop.

Here is a side view to show how it stands out as it does not show to well on the front view

Wow how time flys

Hi all,

Wow it`s been some time since i have been able to get back to some real hands on crafting but am so enjoying it and hoping to get plenty more done :)

A quick update on the family, my youngest daughter recovered lovely back in September from having her gal bladder out and my partner Dave is currently recovering after having his out too but was in and out for just over 2 weeks due to some complications but looks like he`s on the mend now (thank goodness) and as for my middle daughter Toni they have diagnosed her with epilepsy and since being on the tablets all has been well (touching wood as i type this).

So i feel i can now take some time for me and my crafting phew

I hope you have all been well over the last few months and am looking forward to catching up with you all and seeing your fab creations.

Here is a card i made last night following the sketch over at Sketch and Stach Challenge blog using some of the new stash i got for my birthday last Friday.

The new goodies i used are:-
NEW Prima 6x6" Paper Pad - Madeline from Bunny Zoes,
Papermania shimmer textured card stock from my local Range .
The image is Secret Tilda and i coloured her with prisma pencils.

Hi all

Been another busy week, finally getting somewhere with the girls Toni is off to Sheffield today for an MRI so fingers crossed everything is ok, and charlie has had an ultra scan and turns out she has gall stones, well from the pics on the scan looks more like a pearl necklace in there poor thing just hope she don`t have any more attacks before the op which we hope will be soon. I feel a bit better just knowing things are finally moving along and hoping they will both be back to full health soon :)

well actually it was yesterdays card but just didn`t get round to putting it up silly me :)

It`s a lovely sketch to work from by one of the DT`s Emma.

I used some of my new stash to do the stamping and ink-dusting on the circle behind Tilda

its the first time i have made my own backing paper and really enjoyed it so look forward to doing more.

My New Stash

Hi all phew its another hot one

Not quite got my card finished yet so why i am waiting for some of it to dry i thought i would share a pic of some new stash the postie fetched yesterday morning.

I have to tell you about the amazing prices too,

I got the new colour Tim Haltz Ranger Distress Inks at only £3.95 each

the fab ink dusters was £6.99 for a 6 pack, I was so pleased with the size as i had bought some previously for somewhere else and when they arrived they was tinny things :(

and at the back of the pic is an Artemio clear script and music score stamp set that have been designed to stamp landscape. again very pleased with the size - Sheet size: 14 x18 cm (5½" x 7")

and at only £8.49 and on top of all that they offer free postage with every order over £15 Wow

And the fab shop i found that offers all this and much more is

I have also ordered some of the craft racks and hope to show them when they come and i have them set up.

Hi all it is so nice to be back to crafting again :)

I have made this card for Forever Friends Challenge - Pink & Green

I have used my new Forever Friends triple CD (love this) to print the decoupage

Backing papers are from FF All Loved Up A5 paper pack ,they are on the CD too so will not be so sad when the pad runs out as i just love these too.

the green paper is from my stash and i have used a Martha Stewart punch and some little gems

the sentiment is a fabby one from SU.

May be MIA for a short while

Another Saturday and another trip to A&E

Have to say first, everything seems ok at the mo but have everything crossed it stays that way but i may be MIA for a short while.

This morning my middle daughter had some kind of fit or seizure whilst in bed,

when we got to her she was rigid and shaking we managed to get her to come round but then she could not move or speak which really panicked me this is where my eldest Bobbie took over, she is a first aider with St John`s she kept calm and got everything under control helping Toni as she regained movement in different parts of her body and and her speech came back very slowly and was very slurred for about 20 Min's or so whilst i rang the doctors and was told to take her A&E

Which i did straight away,

we are finally home now but are now awaiting an appointment for first fit clinic where hopefully they can find out more but, have been told if it happens again go straight back to A&E and she will be admitted.

So i will not be wanting to sleep tonight so that i can keep an eye on her.

Well what a start to the week we had here spent the entire day at the A&E with my youngest daughter after school rang me in the morning saying she was complaining of a pain just bellow her rib cage , well after a very long day at the hospital they finally got the pain under control late last night and are doing more tests this morning it was so nice to see her finally be able to get some rest. so its straight back up there this morning hope to catch up with you all asap

I had a lovely lay in not to much just enough to put a spring in my step which is a good job as i ordered Just Dance for the WII the other week and it has just turned up in the post today and i think the girls have big ideas about us having a dance marathon tonight,

Good morning all again,

This is my first attempt at an easel card and am so surprised

how easy they are to do, so glad i finally bit the bullet and had a go at last.

I have used a fab new image Adore from Polly Craft (only 99p)

I have printed her on whisper white card stock and coloured her with copics

The gorgeous papers are My Minds Eye a freebie i got yesterday with my Cardmaking &Papercraft Mag

the flowers are using the same paper with my retro flower punch with gems from my stash.

My New Forever Friends Stash

Evening everyone,

Well i finally got a card done just hope its one of many for this year :)

I have to thank Ali for inspiring me to get a move on after visiting her blog and seeing her post

about Do Crafts "Craft For Life Campaign"

I will be making a few before handing in and maybe even be able to sell a few to family and friends for them to also help raise funds.

and also thank you to my mum for the trip to our local range where i was able to pick up quite a few of the bags to put them in as show below.

A Few Things to Share

Hi all,

All i can say is BRRRRR. I think like a few people when you first see the snow falling its great, seems something magical about it BUT after a while of being stuck in the house and all the terrible accidents around you start to dread getting up to another day of it :(

but seen as i am stuck in the house i have managed to get some crafting done, but no cards yet

I watched a few demos on YouTube about toilet roll mini albums and thought i would have a go well as you can see bellow one turned into two lol

and toilet roll tubes are something we have plenty of in our house, think its something to do with their being mainly girls it drives my other half Dave mad but guess know he knows how we feel about the whole seat issue lol

Here is a few pics of the first one i made:-

and after seeing it my daughter bobbie asked if i could make one for a friends birthday who loved butterfly's so would i include them in it and here it is :-

These are great for using up lots of leftovers and scraps of ribbon so i can see me being overrun with then soon hehe

Well its yet another cold and wet one weather man says we may have snow but not really looking like it yet.

Morning all,

Hope everyone is well this cold wet morning and by cold i mean very cold brrrrr.

Well i finally got to make a card for a few challenges and i have used this beautiful Snow Juggler snowman image its from the Home Grown rage by Sugar Nellie

its the first time i have inked it since i got it but it sure wont be the last as i just love it :)

Hi all

I know i know its been quite some time since i last blogged

I have had a few health issues and other things come up but have been feeling much better over last week or so,

you know what its like if it ain't one thing its another lol

I`m so glad to be back and be able to share some pics of some projects that i have managed to get done in between things.

The first is the advent boxes i made from matchboxes one for each of my daughters thought it would be great something they can get out each year.

The pink one is Charlie`s - blue Toni`s - red n green Bobbie`s

and i also made some decorations using the SU punches and some chocolate coins

they finish the tree of perfectly too :)

Off to my sisters tonight as she is hosting the Halloween party,

she has done for the last few year as my little angels are not quite so little anymore :(

the youngest now being 15.

Oooo i love a bargain

Hi all,

No card today but i did want to show you what i picked up yesterday

when i nipped into town , we was only picking something up but as we was passing one of many pound shops in our town center i thought i would have a quick look

and this is what i found a

i could not resist for a pound bringing them home and taking them to bits

The flowers have a lovely velvety feel to them and i got quite a few off of it,

hopefully it wont be to long before i have a card to show with them on :)

Not back quite so quick

:( Just when i thought it was safe to come back to blogland,

they decide my kitchen is all wrong and have had to rip it all out again move all the

sockets and pluming and start over so has been hard to get to the PC besides not really feeling

to much like it at the mo due to the situation.

Hopefully they will get it done right this time and life can return to some kind of normality.

More work on the house

Hi all, just a quick update as to why i`m not around at the mo

i have more workmen in just seems like as one set go another set turn up this time for the damp-proofing . They are having to take all the plaster off in my main room and kitchen so once again we are all trapped in what was my craft room so it has all had to be packed away again and this time it will be for a few weeks as after this work they are back to do the kitchen and rewiring the whole house :(

i know i should not moan as it will be nice when done.

So today i face another day with no electric (so boring with no comp or TV )

My first card of the week

Hi all, what a week (phew)

First i have had workmen here fitting my walk in shower, which will be great when its done

but for now can`t use the bathroom (again).

Then came some bad news, my mum got a call from her Sister and she has breast cancer,

and it hit my mum even harder as she has lost a sister and niece to cancer already .

I also lost my best friend only 2 years ago who was just like part of the family to us all so it is still so raw for us all,

But i also know there is lots of people out their who beat this terrible disease like my MIL

who has beaten it twice and this is what we have to focus on now and stay strong for her.

I know a lot of you are regular visitors to my mums blog too (The Crafting Pad) and i would just like to thank all those who left such lovely messages for her regarding this :)

Pollycraft Monday challenge

Hi all wow can`t believe we are on Thursday already its just going so fast,

but i am doing well with my cards, getting in a few challenges this week.

This one is for Pollycraft Monday challenge - Sketch with the added theme of food or drink.

I have used one of the PollyCraft decoupage images from the new Dexter Christmas Toppers printable sheet.

They are just so cute :)

The papers i have used are from Dovecraft - Ho Ho Ho pack

Sentiment does not show to well as it is on green miri card and can`t quite remember name and make just know you get them in a pack and are die cut in different coloures,

mmm not to sure where i got the flowers either think it may have been Ebay?

Well there ya go that's my memories shot lol

Digital Tuesday challenge-17-simplify

Second post and challenge of the day and this on is my first go at :-

Digital Tuesday challenge - Simplify

So i used a C.C. Design Digi Image - Winter Bear

from All That Scraps

I have used an old print program i have had for some years now (Coral print house 3) to arrange the digi images, i first made a box the size of my card front then another that would go in the middle for the main image then arranged the gloves and digi sentiment along the bottom.

The top sentiment was made using the text tool on the program,

I then grouped all and made a copy and pasted it so i had 2 of the same,

Then printed out cut the centre from one and layered it over the other with some mat and layering coloured with Promarkers and added glitter round the edges using the red double sided tape and a sprinkling of glamour dust :)

There nice and simple lol (probably not the way i describe things)

The best thing is i can print this out and remake over and over as it is now saved as a template.

Forever Friends - 27TH July Challenge

Morning all...

Well i finally managed to get a card done for the

Forever Friends - 27TH July Sketch challenge

I have quite a few FF stamps as i love how detailed they look but how easy they are to work with colour as you get a lovely crisp image.

I coloured my little bear with Copics,

Papers are Dovecraft - Tis The Season pack

and red card stock from DCWV Christmas card stack (White core),

the greating is one from a Penny Black clear Christmas set.

Other tool used are circle Nestability and a Cuttlebug emboss folder.

Hi all hope you had a fab weekend , i had a very busy one what with it being my niece`s 8Th Birthday Saturday and my mums (better not put her age lol) on the Sunday.

I didn`t get to take pics of the cards i made as usual it was a mad rush to get things done and out the door but had a really good weekend.

Here is one of the cards i made yesterday for a few challenges.

Morning all here is another card but this one fits 2 Challenges firstly i followed the fab sketch at

Mojo Mondays challenge and it came together much faster than i thought when i first looked at the sketch so i am very pleased and secondly High Hopes Challenge is to include daisies on your creations.

I have used High Hopes -Wingin' It Duck (which i love its so fun)

Papers are all from DCWV Glitter mat stack

Sentiment from CC Design - Birthday Sentiments (love these too lots of sayings)

Flowers retro punch and circle.

Hi all here is my card for today

Thank you Carlz for letting me know the Magnolia Vs Stampavie is not running anymore silly me did not realize lol

But i did enjoy following the sketch and another card to add to my collection :)

Image Traveler Tilda coloured with Copics.

The papers i have used are Papermania Signature Regency paper pack.

Flowers are Anita`s Dimensions and sentiment is a Daisy and Dandelion Die cut greeting ribbon from stash.

Sketch Saturday Challenge and Crafty Creations

Morning all hope you all have a fab start to the week :)

I am starting my week with a card for Sketch Saturday Challenge #59

Its a fab sketch, and just found thanks to saskia that it also fits the Crafty Creations challenge which is Birds this week.

I have used a selection of papers from DCWV - Nana`s Nursery stack

and the cute Lil Birdie stamp that goes so well with the paper just behind is a i got from Crafts u Love but can`t remember the name sorry, i coloured it with Copics and added a little bling to the flower. Top sentiment is from Dies to die for - cc design - Birthday Sentiments

The circular sentiment is one i got from Funky Kits in a lucky dip bag and ribbon and gems from stash.

Yay a card at last

Hi all hope you have had a great weekend .

My weekend has been fun me and my mum had a great time yesterday we went to see Jo doing some fab demos at our local range,

Only problem is after seeing all the fab cards Jo makes i have to spend more money on the lush papers and stamps she show`s

I also go there for the o so lovely luxury hot chocolate drink which i`m sure all those who visit my mums blog Happy crafter will see at some point soon as she took a pic so she could show people why i go there so much :)

And today YAY i made a card its so nice to finally have everything sorted and cleaned up even if it is only for a while before they come back and start all over again :(

This card is for the Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge which is a fab sketch by Jane.

I have used one of the new stamp i got from my visit to the Stamp Magic show

and coloured it with Pro Markers papers ribbon and gems from stash.

Hi all hope you having a great start to the weekend.

Unfortunately mine will be spent mostly cleaning as they finished the ceiling in the room but they also striped the paper and skimmed all the walls so Lott's of dust and plaster to clean its a nightmare,

and on top of that they had to knock a wall out upstairs between the bathroom and one of the bedrooms so even more cleaning and we can`t put things back either and relax as they are coming back to they say decorate but really i think they are just going to white wash the walls

I am so missing my crafting.

I keep nipping on to see your lovely creations even if i don't get chance to leave comments but hopefully i will catch up with you all soon.

Quick break

Hi all,
Well hear we are at the back end of another weekend and for me here is where the panic sets in, as the start of the new week brings destruction :( tomorrow the workmen will be here to take down the entire ceiling in my lounge and try and repair the drooped floor above hopefully without any damage to the water tank that is also above where they need to do most of the work,
So for the next few days the bathroom and lounge will be out of bounds and to get to the kitchen we will have to walk out and around the house so i may be MIA (missing in action) as everything and everyone is now in what was my craft room and most of my stuff is packed away for safety.
I am also extending my candy giveaway until the 2ND of July and will announce the winner the next morning as fingers crossed it will be all over :)
So till then i hope you all have a great week and i will be back asap to see all your fab creations.

Hi all ,
As it says in the title i have managed to do a card that fits 3 challenges and the best bit is i didn't actually plan it :)

I made this card this morning for the C.R.A.F.T Challenge - which is to take inspiration from the picture they have put up and as soon as i saw it i thought of this stamp.

I have also entered it into Stamp Something - Embellish something challenge as i have used 3 flowers to embellish my card.

and

Colour Create - week 20 Pistachio Green, Aqua and Powder Pink

This one i have managed to fit 2 challenges in one :-

Spoon full of sugar - Challenge 57 - Weddings

and followed the fab sketch over at Mojo Mondays

I have used the Elzybells - Bride and Groom coloured again with ProMarkers and

mounted onto core`dinates card backing papers are from Dovecraft Wedding paper pack

ribbon and button from stash, sentiments also from elzybells.

Here is my card for the Crafty Creations Challenge #21: Stars & Stripes

The the prize this week is a brand new acrylic stamp set by My Favorite Things called Funky Flowers go check it out.

I have used a Pollycraft Digi image - Pierre Superhero
Coloured with ProMarkers cut using nestability circle and scallop circle then mounted onto some DCWV Star sticky back paper then onto red core`dinates.

Wow cant believe we are almost at Wednesday already as not looking forward to next week as i have to have the ceiling pulled down in my living room so they can get to push the floors back in place and put some better support things in (as you can see i`m not up on the builder lingo lol)

had to pack up a lot of my craft stuff to make room for the rest of the furniture to come in my craft room :(

So if i disappear for a short time next week this is why.

I will be happy when its all done though

Hi all :)

I have made this card this morning to enter the Sketch and Stash Challenge 13

Which is a fab sketch, they also have a new feature to the challenge starting from this Challenge.

They now offer an Optional Challenge which you can choose to take up or not and this time it is Animals, So i have made this using some backing papers and stamps that i bought some time ago and have been sadly neglected at the back of my shelf.

Hi all

Well here we are again almost at the end of another weekend and boy has it flown past .

Spent most of the day at the Stamp Magic show which was fab but now i am so tired so just nipped on to post this before i forget and am too late.

Its my first time of entering Passion for ProMarkers the challenge is to use

Berry Red and Royal Blue ProMarkers i decided to colour one of the gorjuss girls and was surprised how nice it looked from just using the 2 colours for the majority of it.

ABC Challenge

Hi all,

Hope your all having a fab start to the weekend, i just can`t wait for Sunday

(Stamp Magic show) it will be my first time going :)

Anyway for today here is my card for ABC Challenge - S is for summer

I have used a fab Digi stamp simply called Bird Lolly from Victoria Case Art Designs

and coloured it with

Pro Markers and touches of glitter on the lolly and eyes with Copic Spica glitter pens,

Sentiment and punch shapes are SU

Papers are DCWV - Sweet stack ,Blossoms Butterflies stack

Ribbon came free some time ago on Quick cards mag.

Wow i must be on a role as this is my third 2 in 1 challenge this week,

Hi all hope you have had a good day so glad the sun is out again here

just hope it lasts :)

Anyway here is my card for 2 challenges.

I have followed the fab sketch by Becky over at My Time To Craft Challenge which will run for 2 weeks this time due to holidays.

I have also made this to enter the first Die Cut Dreams Challenge which is green fingers So anything to do with gardening, flowers, plants etc.

I have used Sugar Nellie's - Planting some Love rubber stamp

Coloured with pro markers

The papers and card are :- PM - Spring Burst

Sentiment stamped using one of the exclusive Papermania stamps that was free on i think it was the creativity mag,

Punch's used - SU Scallop , circles and XCUT retro flower sml and large.

Think i covered everything :)

Cupcake Craft Challenge 44 - Fathers Day

Hi all hope you had a great start to your week ,

Here is my first creation of the week and its for Cupcake Craft Challenge

this week the challenge is Fathers Day but there's a slight twist in that it has to be more than a card. You can interpret that any way you want to.

So here is my interpretation,

The box is called all in one box designed by Monica Gale for one of the Stamp With Us online classes and was very easy to do.

I used a mix of SU card and design paper for the box,

The image is a digi one i could not resist from Polycraft its just so cute i coloured it using pro markers and made the sentiment on my PC.

I have made this for the girls to give to their dad as an extra fun pressie

Now to show the prezzi inside lol its a pair of Superman boxers goes great and i know he will just love these :)
